Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 12, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how TheuBot (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use our website, dashboard, household assistant, and related features (the “Service”). It should be read with our Terms of Service.

1. Information we collect

Account and household

When you sign up or join a household, we process identity and account data through our authentication provider (Clerk), such as name, email, authentication identifiers, organization/household membership, and role.

Billing

If you subscribe, payment and billing details are processed by Clerk Billing and Stripe. We receive subscription status, plan entitlements, and related billing metadata needed to provide your plan — not full card numbers.

Service usage

We process assistant conversations, turn/usage counts, settings, enabled modules, and operational logs needed to run, secure, and improve the Service.

Household vault and profiles

Content you store in the household vault (notes, people profiles, and related memory) is stored so TheuBot can assist your household.

Connectors

If you connect third-party accounts (for example Google, Microsoft, X, Tesla, or others you enable), we store OAuth tokens and related credentials securely and access data from those services only as needed for the features you turn on (such as mail, calendar, drive, or vehicle status).

Device and technical data

We may collect standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, device identifiers, and diagnostic events to operate and protect the Service.

2. How we use information

We use information to:

  • Provide, personalize, and improve the assistant and dashboard
  • Authenticate users and manage household memberships
  • Process subscriptions and enforce plan limits
  • Run connectors and tools you authorize
  • Maintain security, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot issues
  • Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your household content to train public foundation models for unrelated third parties.

3. AI processing

To generate responses and take actions you request, relevant prompts, context, and connector data may be sent to model and infrastructure providers that process data on our behalf under contractual restrictions.

4. Sharing

We share information only as needed with:

  • Service providers — authentication (Clerk), payments (Stripe), hosting/databases, and AI/infrastructure vendors that help run TheuBot
  • Third-party connectors — when you connect an account, that provider receives the requests you authorize through TheuBot
  • Household members — shared household features may expose content within your household according to roles and settings
  • Legal and safety — when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and the integrity of the Service

5. Retention

We retain account, vault, usage, and connector data while your account or household is active and for a reasonable period afterward for backups, disputes, security, and legal compliance. You can disconnect connectors and request deletion of account-related data subject to retention we must keep by law or for legitimate security needs.

6. Security

We use encryption in transit, access controls, and encrypted storage for sensitive connector secrets where applicable. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; please use strong account protections and share household access carefully.

7. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to:

  • Access or correct personal information
  • Delete personal information or close your account
  • Export certain data
  • Object to or restrict certain processing
  • Withdraw connector consents by disconnecting integrations

You can manage many settings in the dashboard (connections, household, billing). For other privacy requests, contact us through the channels published on our website or via your account.

8. Children

TheuBot is designed for household use. Adult account holders are responsible for how minors in the household use the Service and for any personal information about them that is stored in household profiles or vault content.

9. International transfers

We may process information in the United States and other countries where our providers operate. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.

10. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the Service after an update means you acknowledge the revised policy.

11. Contact

Privacy questions can be raised through your TheuBot account or the support channels published on our website.
